Easy and inexpensive centerpiece

This past winter Brian picked up this "fancy" soda.  I really liked the bottles and thought they would make  nice vases for my fourth of July table.  I stuck some daisies from our garden in each bottle and lined them down the table. Easy, and I think it turned out pretty cute.  How do you decorate on a budget?  I would love to hear!

  1. These are lovely! I enjoy thrifting for little unique vases or bottles to do the very same thing!

  2. We've done something similar with old-time Coca Cola bottles that they put out a few years back. I've been planting tons of flowers the past year or so that we can cut to bring in, like daisies and hydrangeas. Basically I've vowed never to buy another vase (okay unless I find something awesome) because you can find so many cool things. My newest "vase" is a glass milk bottle...we got some chocolate milk from a local farm at Whole Foods.

  3. I cut flowers from the garden and display them in mason jars. But I love, love your "fancy" soda bottle idea -- it looks super cute!
