Pineapple Tomato

For the last nine years we have planted in a garden.  The garden is ALWAYS good to us and gives us an abundant harvest.
Our tomato plants are lush and green and give us way more fruit than we know what to do with.  This year, not so much.  We're blaming it on the weather.  They could still turn around.  It is early in the season for us in the tundra.
We planted two heirloom tomato plants this year and the one you see above is a pineapple tomato.  We have only got one piece of fruit so far, but it was absolutely delicious!  As you can see it has a beautiful orange/yellow color.  It has a mild and slightly sweet flavor and it is very juicy.  Plus it is virtually seedless, something we didn't know.  I'm really hoping this plant gives us more delicious tomatoes, but we'll see.
How about you guys, what did you plant in your garden's this year, and how is it growing?

  2. Those look beautiful! This year we planted a 9-pack assortment of tomatoes from Burpees which are all starting to come in. Plus I always do three sisters (corn, beans and squash.) Did some kale, but it turns out I really don't like it very much. Also had some carrots. The husband planted some jalepenos that are not really doing well. It's the best time of the gardening year! The eating!
